Team building activities

Team Building £50pp - Full Day - 8 people minimum

This event is different from the team challenge in that it is more corporate based, with emphasis on individual and team development. Like the team challenge it consists of orienteering, problem solving and raft building. But unlike the team challenge each problem is broken down into its individual elements. The emphasis is on team work, planning and using your time appropriately, each problem promotes different inter personal skills. The teams' individual strengths and weaknesses become evident and are the basis for the formal review at the end of the session.
This activity can be extended over two days and combined with a facilitator who could apply all the lessons learned, back to the work place

Team Challenge £35pp - Half Day - 8 people minimum

Team Challenge £35pp - Half Day - 8 people minimum This activity relies on you and your team working together using communication, cooperation and team work. This is a fun event that does not need to be taken too seriously; it’s great against other teams of like minded people or as an inter company challenge.
The session includes problem solving and navigation.
The afternoon can be run with raft building, to make a full problem solving day.

Session brief
Use your map reading skills to orienteer your way round finding problems to solve. The problems are worth various credits when overcome, depending on its difficulty or on the map. With the credits you have earned, you will need to buy raft building equipment, then design and build a raft, race it and win to secure victory. The day ends with an informal review and prize giving. The session can be run without raft building, just as a full problem solving day.

Raft building corporate ½ day £35 per person

Raft Building is the original team building activity. This is directed at companies or groups wanting a smaller team building activity. There are many reasons why you may want to put your team through this type of session.

  • To take people out of their comfort zone
  • Build cooperation and communication within your team
  • Develop and enhance working relationships
  • Identify strengths and weaknesses
Your aim is to collect as many credits as you can. Each team is given 1000 credits to begin with, with these you have to use your imagination and creativity to design and build a raft. The raft building equipment is bought from your instructor using your credits. Use your credits wisely to achieve the best possible design at the minimum cost. Credits can be earned at different times of the day for completing various tasks. Finally test your design and race your raft against another team, to possibly earn credits. The winning team is the one with the most credits at the end of play. The day will end with a formal review and prize giving

Raft building jolly ½ day £22 per person

This activity is great for hen and stag groups or for likeminded individuals who want a fun activity with friends. The day runs very much like the raft building corporate day, but with more emphasis on the fun element . The activity ends with an informal review and prize giving. All together a recipe for a really exciting activity.
